let's get cooking

  1. step 1

bring a pan of salted water to a boil, add the green beans & simmer for 1 min. drain & rinse under cold water. set aside.

  2. step 2

use your favourite method on the pack instructions to cook your gyoza.

  3. step 3

while your gyoza's are cooking, lay the cucumbers on a chopping board & smash with a rolling pin. the cucumbers should crack open. repeat along their full length until the cucumbers have started to fall apart. let the cucumber pieces sit in a strainer set over a bowl to remove excess water.

  4. step 4

place the green beans in a large resealable plastic bag, seal, & smash with a rolling pin until most of the beans are split open & bruised. add the greans beans to the strainer with the cucumbers, give it a good shake to get rid of any more water.

  5. step 5

add all the ingredients for the dressing in a large bowl & whisk to combine. add the cucumbers, green beans & crispy onions. toss through to mix.

  6. step 6

plate up your dressed greens & top with the vegetable gyoza. drizzle with chilli crisp & garnish with sesame seeds &/or spring onions.
