grilled miso pork

ingredients

  • 2 pork chops (cut into 1″ slices – no bone)
  • 2 sachets of itsu miso
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 chopped spring onion
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp mirin (or 1tsp white wine + 1ts sugar instead)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • step 1

    Mix all the ingredients together in small bowl then quickly marinate the pork for 8 minutes and set aside. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan

  • step 2

    Place the pork in the pan and pour over the marinade. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until nicely caramelised

  • step 3

    Serve with white rice and green beans
