you will need
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 sachets miso'easy traditional
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 cod fillet
- 1 lime
- handful tenderstem broccoli
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- soy sauce or tamari
- lime juice
let's get cooking
To make the marinade for the cod, add the sake, mirin, miso'easy traditional, sugar, garlic and ginger paste to a medium/large bowl and mix well.
Add the cod fillet to the bowl making sure it's fully covered in the marinade. Leave covered in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour but overnight if possible.
Take the marinated cod out of the fridge and oven bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from the oven and baste the cod. Return to the oven and grill the cod until golden brown.
Add coconut oil to frying pan and add broccoli, green beans and the soy sauce or tamari. Fry gently until the broccoli & green beans become soft.
Serve the veggies with the marinated cod, enjoy!
