gyoza in blankets

start cooking

you will need

  • 1 packet [12] itsu christmas gyoza
  • 6 strips smoked streaky bacon
  • 150g cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 clementine [juiced]
  • 2tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

let's get cooking

  1. step 1

    Working one at a time, lay the bacon out on a board and cut in half widthways. Place a frozen gyoza at one end and roll the bacon around it until it’s totally wrapped up. Repeat for the rest of the gyoza

  2. step 2

    Set aside for 10 minutes to allow the gyoza to thaw slightly. This can be done ahead of time and let in the fridge

  3. step 3

    In the meantime blend the cranberry sauce, clementine juice and rice vinegar together until smooth. set aside

  4. step 4

    Heat a frying pan with a tbsp of oil and cook the gyoza in blankets, turning regularly for 7-8 minutes until the brown is crispy and the gyoza are heated through the middle

  5. step 5

    Serve, dip and enjoy!
