you will need

  • 1 large napa or 2 Chinese cabbage
  • 500g thinly sliced beef or pork
  • 1 pack soft tofu
  • handful of mushrooms [we used shimeji]
  • 2 classic ramen brilliant’broth

  1. step 1

    Wash cabbage leaves thoroughly, then layer with thinly sliced meat

  2. step 2

    Chop into 2-3 segments depending on the height of your pot.

  3. step 3

    Arrange cabbage and meat, leaving the centre hollow for diced tofu and mushrooms. 

  4. step 4

    Pour in the brilliant’broth and simmer with the lid on for 15-20 minutes on medium heat. 

  5. step 5

    Split and serve into bowls.
