Dr Emma says

"The new veggie’balls are made with chickpeas, peas and red split lentils, along with a variety of vegetables, herbs and spices, giving a total of 15.25 plant points alone and providing a wide range of plant nutrients. Pulses like chickpeas and lentils are naturally rich in fibre, and this dish is a source of fibre, providing around two-thirds of an adult's recommended daily intake. An extra boost of plant variety comes from wholegrain brown rice, which contains B vitamins along with additional dietary fibre. With most adults in the UK falling short of the recommended 30g of fibre per day, meals like this can help contribute towards fibre intake. Diets rich in fibre help support normal digestive function."
