classic ramen with vegetable fusion gyoza

main | serves 1 | prep time 10 minutes | cook time 6 minutes

ingredients

  • 6 vegetable fusion gyoza
  • 1 tsp five spice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 15 grams grated ginger
  • handful coriander 1 spring onion
  • 500 ml chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 cloves chilli powder
  • 2 sheets itsu crispy seaweed - sea salt
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 150 grams udon noodles
  • 1 handful chopped mushrooms
  • 1 spring onion
  • step 1

    boil udon noodles & set aside

  • step 2

    in a saucepan add stock, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, soy sauce, five spice and bring to boil. Simmer for 2-3 mins

  • step 3

    add the gyoza, mushrooms & udon noodles & simmer for a further 3 minutes

  • step 4

    add noodles to a bowl, pour the stock & gyoza on top

  • step 5

    garnish with boiled egg, crispy seaweed, spring onion & sesame seeds
